Property Manager

Your new company:

The company was established in 1897 and is one of the leading privately-owned, construction, development and property services companies in the UK. They employ almost 4,000 people, working with a range of clients and partners from across the public and private sectors.

Your new role:

Responsible for the effective management of the property estate, achieving business objectives whilst helping to maintain the properties in accordance with contractual and statutory requirements. This includes minimising property related costs, maximising any sub-let income and protecting the legal and reputational position of the company.

What you'll need to succeed:

Establish full extent of the property portfolio and provide monthly reports on current and upcoming risks/issues/changes relating to each property. To do this you will need Landlord & Tenant knowledge to include Rent Reviews, Lease renewals, Lease Breaks, Dilapidations, New leases, service charges and business rates. Understanding of statutory health and safety requirements for commercial property.

MRICS Qualified - Preferable. The successful candidate will hold relevant commercial property management experience along with the ability to advise on strategic asset management matters. Experience of managing a diverse and multi-tenanted portfolio.
