Our client is an interdisciplinary studio specialising in wayfinding and experience design. They focus on the importance of how spaces and building interact with, and ‘talk’, to people. They work at the intersection of architecture, branding and environmental design to help clients create a holistic, seamless and integrated experience that unites architecture, brand and local heritage. ?They are looking to bolster their team with a Senior, ideally Associate or Associate Director level. The ideal person will have a very solid understanding of the intricacies of wayfinding and experience design on a large and complex scale and will come with a mix of architecture, urban, master planning and wayfinding experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Extensive client liaison
  • Manage/oversee large scale projects across multiple sectors
  • Help lead a small team of signage and wayfinding designers
  • Come up with creative and innovative experiential concepts
  • Create interior and exterior wayfinding systems
  • Design sign location plans for built environments
  • Develop high-quality deliverables to satisfy client briefs
  • Select colour, materials and production methods throughout design process

Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in architecture, design, wayfinding, urban, master planning or combination
  • Branding experience advantageous
  • High quality portfolio demonstrating detailed and creative design aesthetic
  • Advanced knowledge in Adobe Creative Cloud, knowledge of AutoCAD and Rhino
  • Ability to understand Architectural plans and drawings
