Your new role
You will proactively manage the organisation's surveying team, taking responsibility for the operational delivery of responsive and planned projects. This role is crucial in supporting the implementation of the stock investment programme, the decarbonisation programme, and building safety remedial plans.
In summary you will provide leadership and expert technical knowledge to the organisation on surveying and all aspects of building maintenance and investment whilst also delivering a range of surveying services, to; implementing, monitoring, inspecting, diagnosing repairs, and managing contract works on a range of projects and services.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be experienced in the following:
- Managing contractors performance including health and safety etc.
- Have strong understanding of maintenance services related to the social housing sector and have a successful track record of delivering building surveying services and management of work programmes.
- Have an understanding of current building legislation and wider sector issues.
- Demonstrable experience of undertaking stock condition surveys.
