Senior Hydraulic Modeller - Permanent Job - Remote/Flexible - £35,000-£40,000 [DOE]

Your new role
The projects cover all aspects of modelling and hydrology, including flood risk, reservoir safety and design, water resources, coastal, fluvial and urban flooding using all industry tools.
- Hydraulic modelling using industry standard software (Flood Modeller, Tuflow, InfoWorks, HEC-RAS) for model development, calibration, interpretation, and interrogation of 1D and 1D/2D models.
- Hydrological assessment using Flood Estimation Handbook methods.
- Analysing, managing, and interpreting data using GIS software (ArcGIS, MapInfo, QGIS).
What you'll need to succeed
You'll need a senior level of experience, able to work off your own initiative and be a self-starter.
- Degree - CEng / Hydrology or similar.
- Systems Knowledge - Flood Modeller, Tuflow, InfoWorks, HEC-RAS or similar.
- Aware of Flood Estimation handbook methods.
- Knowledge of SUDS [Sustainable Drainage Design].
- GIS capabilities [ArcGIS, MapInfo, QGIS]
- Chartership desirable.
