New Job: Building Services Engineer-Mechanical in Worcestershire for £40K-£50K, Full-Time and Perm, ASAP Start
Your new company
This is a Worcestershire based global company and the worlds largest independent company for the stimulation, testing and development of all types of powertrain systems.
Your new role
You will be part of the Engineering and Order Fulfilment department where you will be required to carry out all duties and tasks within the role of a Building Services Engineer. This includes supporting the facility design, thermodynamic calculations and assessment, sizing of HVAC and cooling water equipment. The principal area of work will be the production of 3D models and 2D annotated drawings used the CAD Software. This is a design role, so experience in designing in Building Services is essential!
You will be expected to produce accurate and detailed facility drawings, designs, and engineering calculations as well as being able to write detailed supplier/contractor specifications and test criteria documents. With training from the company, you would then develop and maintain a level of expertise in the companies products and processes as appropriate to the role. You will be conducting site visits occasionally.
What you'll need to succeed
Your new company will require you to have a degree in a Building Services, HNC/HND in Building Services and experience of working within a field of Building Services.
Ideally you will hold or be working towards membership of a professional body such as the Chartered Institute of Building Services (CIBSE) or equivalent.
It is suggested that you will experience in one of the following fields:
- M&E Building Design
- Thermodynamic and/or Fluid Dynamic calculations
- Collaborative Engineering
- Architecture and Building terminology
- HVAC systems
- Refrigerant systems
- Engine and Automotive Test Industry
- CFD
- 3D and 2D AutoCAD, Revit, BIM and SolidWorks
What you'll get in return
In return, this company can offer you an annual salary ranging from £40,000 - £50,000 depending on the level of experience and qualifications. You will be required to work on a full-time, permanent basis from the Worcestershire office 5 days a week: Mon-Thurs 08:30-17:00 and Fri 08:30-15:45. The company offers 24 days holiday and can pay business mileage towards site visits.
