Leasing Surveyor

Your new company:

Hays Property and Surveying are seeking an experienced and dynamic Commercial Leasing Surveyor to join a Property and Corporate Asset Management team in Oxford.

Your new role:

The role will be focused on leasing across all asset classes, mainly on leasing activities including, direct negotiations with tenants, drafting and agreeing Heads of Terms, liaising and dealing with appointed external leasing agents and working collaboratively with a number of internal teams including Property Management and Building Services.

You will be an effective member of the asset management team delivering comprehensive leasing of commercial property. You will lead the management and delivery of letting allocated properties within the commercial portfolio to support and maximise the budget.

What you'll need to succeed:

You will have a Degree and/or equivalent experience in property related area and/or Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors. A strong track record of Commercial Property leasing within an organisation of comparable size and complexity or within a private practice environment. Demonstrate market profile and contacts with landowners, commercial agents and management of external consultants as appropriate. Evidence of understanding of local authority legislation for disposal of assets. Proven ability on the leasing of assets for a local authority. Evidence of continuing professional development and an understanding of property issues, opportunities, policies and legislative developments.
