M&E Building Services Manager

New Job: Full-Time 14 months contract, M&E Building Services Manager, Experience with BIM & Site Co-ordination

You will be working through a tier one UK construction business on a site at a West Midlands based University. This reputable construction company create inspiring places that enhance the communities in which we all live and work in. They are focused on delivering real value that extends beyond the build.

They will be working on a 14 months project for a West Midlands based University. The University are investing in their new Molecular Sciences building, which will provide a designated hub for other departments within the University.

Your new role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an M&E specialist Building Services manager to manage the £18 million M&E package at the University. This is a 14 months contract due to end approximately late June - early August 2023.

You will be required to perform the following key activities:

• Day to day on site co-ordination of M&E with other multi-trades
• Manage a multi-disciplinary team
• Short term planning with M&E subcontractors
• Conduct on-site quality checks
• Conduct Health & Safety checks and briefings when required
• BIM Scanning

What you'll need to succeed

You will need to have expertise in overall M&E trades with a requirement to have an understanding of BIM. It is essential that you have previous site management experience and are confident dealing with a multi-disciplinary team and subcontractors. Ideally you would have worked as a Building Services Manager. You would need to be someone who is confident, can think and act quickly, efficiently and safely and someone who is dedicated to complete tasks in a timely manner.
