This medium sized studio works in a variety of sectors including retail, leisure, hospitality, transport, multi-unit residential & mixed use developments, and disciplines including architecture, interiors, urban design + masterplanning. This is an opportunity for the right person to pick up truly varied project exposure! As a medium sized studio, you'll have a chance to dip your toe into all kinds of projects rather than being "pigeon-holed" into a particular team or work-stage.
They're currently on the lookout for Part IIs with either Revit or MicroStation to form an integral part of the team & grow and develop within the practice.
Their ideal candidate will be someone who can take part in design reviews, presentations, client meetings, contractor-meetings & site visits, being fully involved throughout the project lifecycle.
They are looking for someone with a solid understanding of UK building regs & an awareness of how to respond creatively & innovatively to the client brief maintaining design quality whilst maintaining an awareness of budget + building/planning regs.
This is a temp-to-perm role, so candidates will initially be taken on on a contract basis, however if all goes well it will transition fairly quickly to a perm role. While working in the temp phase, you'll earn £20 to £25 per hour, which is an attractive rate for a role at this level!
Unlike most studios, which tend to insist on their junior staff being fully office based for training & support, this studio is happy to offer a hybrid week to all staff including at Part II level.
If you are a Part II who meets the skill & experience requirements and is looking for an opportunity to expand your portfolio or develop your skill set & career prospects, we would love to hear from you.
