Your new company is located in Bray and is a single destination solution provider offering custom manufactured solutions in metal and plastics to industries such as aerospace, medical, telecoms and engineering.

This particular company utilises the latest in injection moulding technology, materials handling and automation to provide top quality precision moulded components to a range of industries such as Aerospace, Engineering, Telecoms and Medical devices . They are now seeking a Plant Manager for their injection Moulding division. This role has come about due to company expansion.


Your new role
You will be tasked with the coordination of all daily operations of the injection moulding plant, overseeing of all levels of staff activity, performance and Safety Developing processes to increase productivity and enhance performance. Also part of this role will require that an ensuring of company policies and procedures are followed at all times. Screening, interviewing and managing the on-boarding process of new hires.

Other responsibilities will include providing training and educational materials to staff as necessary, monitoring of equipment and ensure that they are in good working order, repairing or replacement of plant equipment as needed.

What you'll need to succeed.

• Third Level Qualification in Plastics, Mechanical or related field.
• Strong leadership and managerial attributes. Exceptional organisational and time-management skills
• Proven experience working in plant operations is essential
• Excellent conflict-resolution and decision-making abilities
• Good understanding of regulatory requirements for operating plants
• Strong aptitude for root cause analysis and troubleshooting operational issues.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
