Hays are working with a leading global consultancy, to find a Geomatics Surveyor to join one of their growing teams.
This world-class company has been established over 100 years, and now operates across 6 continents, handling a huge range of prestigious property and construction projects.
This vacancy sits within their UK Building Surveying division. This is a major part of the UK business, and helps clients make more efficient use of their land and property portfolio, from minimising risks to adaptions and refurbishments. Within this arm sits a specialist Geomatics team, which is growing in-line with the demand and expansion of this very specialist offering. Core services within Geomatics are topographical, measured building and engineering surveys. They are continuously looking at pushing the use of new technologies, such as drone and virtual reality techniques, and encourage new innovative ideas to help their clients find solutions for a whole range of challenges.
They are seeking a candidate with previous experience in a similar role who is looking for an exciting, leading and innovative organisation which will further their career. Experience across the following tools would be advantageous, however the company is more than happy to develop any gaps with training and support: Stations and GNSS, Laser Scanning methods and techniques, processing/registering of Point Clouds, and AutoCAD.
The main office is based in London and available for staff to use, however home-based working is also fine, plus in addition the company has other UK offices, so proximity to London is also not necessary. The current team sit across the whole of the UK and the usage of technology to collaborate and find solutions works effectively and is greatly encouraged. Project-dependant, occasional site visits will be required, including the possibility for overseas travel.
This is a fantastic opportunity, and we encourage candidates within this sector to apply and/or enquire with us to learn more.
