Revit Technologist


The role will involve providing support to the Associate Architect and Interior Designer to produce drawings, documentation, and details on projects across a wide variety of sectors.

Advanced Revit experience is a must.

The selected candidate will have a thorough understanding of building regulations, manage multiple project commitments and deadlines, have an excellent level of design and technical skills, possess a high level of attention to detail, be aware of ergonomic design, produce technical drawings; including detail and joinery, prepare any necessary planning applications, listed building applications and understand joinery construction, manufacturing processes, materials and finishes, prepare design drawings for competitive tender; including production of working drawings and plans, prepare pre-tender estimates and obtain costs from suppliers, deliver technical and co-ordination aspects of projects to support the team, liaise with all necessary authorities in relation to building regulations, planning applications,, and listed building applications, assists with bids for new work, and lead a project with guidance from Team Lead; including full understanding of all stages of projects and required deliverables.

Essential skills, experience, and attributes:

· Recognised Architectural Technologist Degree.
· 5 years minimum experience working on Interior Design/refurbishment projects, in both private and public sector. Portfolio to be provided.
· Advanced AutoCAD and Revit skills.
· Knowledge of Sketch up, Rendering/3D visuals, and NBS building/Create/Corus.
· Good level of knowledge for construction detailing and ability to resolve construction related queries.
· Experience of different procurement processes and how these relate to the RIBA Plan of Works.
