Planned Preventive Maintenance Manager

A public sector organisation are looking to appoint an Assistant Planned Preventive Maintenance Manager to join their maintenance services team in Reading.

You will be required to oversee the allocation and issue of PPM jobs to Maintenance Services personnel and designated external contractors and maintain the asset register. You will have the ability to ensure that the PPM programme is prioritised on a consistent basis, which reflects the organisations statutory responsibilities.

You will have the technical ability to manage the programme in a manner that provides a safe, reliable & cost-effective service. Have experience in all aspects of planned, preventative and day to day reactive maintenance issues.

Requirements:

* An understanding of building services (mechanical and electrical).
* Hold or be working towards a relevant qualification in building services
* Knowledge of planned preventive maintenance and how applies to a varied estate
* Awareness of current statutory requirements
* Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to engage with a range of stakeholders
* A positive and proactive approach to Health & Safety and how to apply this in a varied estate
* Good IT Knowledge with knowledge of using CAFM systems and Microsoft Office package
