Job Details

Is working for a major player in the UK Architectural market your thing? I'm currently assisting a very well known London based AJ100 practice in their search for a Project Architect amongst others. This is a permanent position with a salary circa £45,000 depending on experience.

For this position you'll need to have at least 5 years PQE to be considered. It's one of those opportunities that heavily relies on a good set of communication skills. You'll be required to lead on some of the current and upcoming residential schemes and a large part of this will be client facing- you'll be assisting the client through the planning process and act as a major point of contact for the company. On top of this a large part of your role will be working alongside the clients and contractors on site so prior experience with this is a must. Continuing with the communication theme you'll also need to have experience of managing small teams as this will be part of your position for the long term.

This considered a delivery focused position so this would be an ideal role for those of you who enjoy the nuts and bolts of the technical stages. Generally you'll be operating in RIBA stages 3-6 so will need to have a solid understanding of the UK building regulations and must be able to illustrate strong detailing examples. Site experience is an absolute must. In terms of your software expertise you'll need to be fluent with Revit- the company in questions have been big advocates of Revit from an early stage so it is vital you have a solid understanding and can use this comfortably from early on.

The work- Residential. Typically we're talking large scale developments ranging from 300-500 unit developments across the UK. It would be great if you had a varied portfolio however it is very important that you've tended to focus more on the residential side of things throughout your career.

With a number of offices across the country and overseas it's an exciting office and a great chance to be an important member of an expanding team. We're talking a major player so if you're keen to work in a large offices with a good social atmosphere then please don't delay and get in touch now!
