Job Details

I'm currently assisting a medium sized, busy Architectural practice based in the Middlesex/Surrey border in their search for a Project Architect on permanent basis. Salary is up to £50,000 depending on experience. 

For this position you'll need to have at least 5 years PQE to be considered. It's an all-round position where job running will be a vital aspect of the position, most of your day to day activities will be working on the delivery stages (RIBA stages 4-6) however over time the opportunity to get involved with some of the design work and planning applications will arise. As a result you'll need to be comfortable with the nuts and bolts of how a building is put together, you're knowledge and experience with detailing packages will need to be high and you'll need a good amount of site experience as well. Following on from the site experience, much of your role will be client facing and working alongside contractors on site so prior experience is a must. 

The work- residential. In short. Typically you'll be working some medium sized residential schemes in and around the Greater London and Surrey area. These will range from 10-50 unit apartments so a portfolio to mirror this would be ideal however if you've got experience with larger scale schemes don't let this deter you as the company in question often work on residential developments from 100+ units. You'll need to demonstrate your technical and construction knowledge with your portfolio.

Revit is the order of the day for this one. Fluency is important for this role as you'll both be using this regularly as well as eventually managing small teams using Revit. AutoCAD fluency is also required.
