Project and Studio Coordinator

Hays are working with a small but long established traditional architectural and interiors firm in Notting Hill, who are seeking a project and studio coordinator to join their team The practice typically works on the refurbishment of high-end properties in Kensington and Chelsea. They have a long-standing reputation, and a high net-worth client-base.

Due to an influx of projects, they are seeking this additional individual to join their team. You will be working alongside their interior designer, the project architect and particularly closely with the studio owner. Your role will be in a supportive capacity, assisting them in the necessary administration of projects, organising design documentation, liaising with suppliers and the client, and general coordination of the studio. You will also be involved in the minor design related tasks, such as researching products and materials, and understanding project pressures, budgets and time-lines. Their projects are typically grand family homes and townhouses in the Kensington area.

They are seeking an organised individual with high levels of attention to detail. Previous experience within an architectural practice or interior design firm would be highly advantageous - and indeed the role will be an excellent stepping stone to someone looking to further their career within the interior design/architecture sector. Candidates with a degree in either Interior Design or Architecture who are looking for a stepping-stone, are encouraged to apply. The role will be offered on an on-going contract basis with an anticipated duration of 12 months, with a generous hourly rate. The role can be offered either full or part time. Due to the close-knit nature of the team, and collaborative approach to the projects, working in the office will be essential, so good proximity to Notting Hill is beneficial.
