Assistant Project Manager

Do you have experience of Construction Project Management?

Hays Recruitment are in partnership with a multidiscipline property and construction consultancy who are looking to appoint an Assistant Project Manager to join their project management team. This role will give you the opportunity to be involved in a variety of construction projects worth up to £300m in value.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Assisting with the day-to-day delivery of projects
• Building relationships with clients
• Development of project documentation and reporting
• Identifying and developing innovative solutions for clients
• Assist with leading and managing multidisciplinary design teams
• Produce reports to suit relevant stages of the projects
• Assist with conducting feasibility studies, including site surveys, site investigation, site evaluation, etc
• Monitor and report on contractor's progress on site
• Support the team in developing new business opportunities
• Support the team managing existing client relationships
• Attend, chair and record meetings as appropriate
• Develop skills that will enable you to provide single point of contact taking responsibility for all aspects of the project and liaise with the client

Experience and Skills Required:

• Construction project management experience essential
• Experience using Microsoft Office software and ideally Microsoft Project
• Degree in a construction related subject is desirable, but not essential. All degree backgrounds will be considered
• Experience of delivering presentations
• Excellent communication skills to have gravitas with senior professionals
• Experience in report writing
