Senior Technical Architect

Globally renowned multidisciplinary practice have a great opportunity for a senior technician/technologist or senior technical architect. To join them to work across a wide range of sectors from design, giving buildability input, through to technical delivery and handover. This role will give a broad scope of projects to work on in the UK an abroad. You will be managing more junior members and working closely with architectural teams on each project. This is a great opportunity to influence projects from design stages, problem solving to enable them to be design with buildability at the core. Then managing the technical delivery stages and all output involved. 

Job Description

• Manage large scale projects at varying RIBA stages
• Attend various sites and design team meetings
• Produce technical drawing packages in Revit
• Work with other members in the team to troubleshoot on various projects from design to delivery
• Offer design input in design team meetings
• Work closely with clients and offer input with energy efficiency, natural materials and embodied carbon

Key Skills

• RIBA Part III qualified or equivalent, or MCIAT qualified 
• Proficiency in Revit
• Demonstrable experience in job running, and working at the technical end of projects
• Confident in working independently and taking ownership of multiple projects
• Desire to problem solve on technical issues and create one off bespoke solutions 
• Interest in wellbeing within design, sustainable design principles and carbon efficiency
