Architectural Assistant (contract)

A critically acclaimed studio in the heart of buzzing Soho is on the lookout for a designer to join their collaborative and supportive design studio on a long term contract basis. This RIBA award winning, internationally reputed design studio offers the opportunity to join a forward thinking, sustainably conscious design team with ambitions of reaching net zero carbon status on projects within the next three years. If successful, you will be working with an experienced team across a broad portfolio of projects that includes international public and commercial schemes, as well as meaningful London mixed use projects at design stage. Job Description

• Work collaboratively within an award winning team on international public and commercial scheme and large-scale UK mixed use schemes at design stage
• Deliver design & access statements, feasibility studies, conceptual sketch designs, and 3D modelling, design development packages and technical packages
• Draft design packages in Revit
• Attend design critiques and design team meetings in studio and remotely
• Produce detailed information for building control and tender purposes
• Work in a collaborative design environment with a focus on sustainability

Key skills

• Demonstrable experience working on large scale projects, within the UK or internationally
• Revit proficiency is essential
• Rhino modelling experience is desirable but not essential
• Strong design ability showcased in portfolio
• Ambitions to join a world famous studio
• Strong communication and team skills
