Asset & Relationship Manager
Our client is a unique heritage foundation responsible for the stewardship of the local community and surroundings. They reinvest their income from their local property investment portfolio to improve the quality of life for their residents. This includes running the Broadway cinema/theatre, Standalone Farm, gallery, and museum amongst other facilities and venues.
They also provide grant funding to the local community in alignment with their charitable objectives. With a diverse property estate their Property Team steward, manage and maintain their property assets to generate income, enhance value and provide excellent operational facilities as well as promoting the Garden City, it's economic growth and delivering the Foundation's charitable objectives.
THE ROLE
This is an autonomous role where you will be an integral member of the Property team who are responsible for the active management of a diverse portfolio. Their commercial property consists of 385,000 sq. ft office, 180,000 sq. ft industrial and 147,000 sq. ft of retail and leisure space, and generates approximately £9,622k of income. It is a part time role of at least 21 hours prorated to a full time salary, options around hours can be discussed.
The overriding focus of the team is to proactively manage the property assets to generate and protect long term net income, enhance value and to ensure the portfolio is maintained to a high standard. Provide input to the planning and implementation of improvement and development strategies across the estate and the wider Foundation. Adapt and take on other responsibilities as may be required from time to time across the Foundations wider Property Team.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- Ideally MRICS qualified with a relevant post graduate degree, demonstrable track record in a commercial property related environment and working within multidisciplinary teams.
- Chartered Surveyor
- A minimum of 5 years in a property related environment
- Working in multidisciplinary teams(s) delivering pro-active property management across a range of property types, primarily commercial
