Job Details
Are you a Senior Architect or Architectural Technologist that's used to leading multidisciplinary teams that's looking for a people-centric company that fully support your career progression? Have you led on large + complex projects and are looking to take that to the next level?
Company Culture + Design Ethos
This is an opportunity to join a global multi-D with an ethos that's truly "people first". This translates into everything, from what is widely acknowledged to be a great internal culture, to their design approach which is focused on making environments that promote happiness and wellbeing.
This company loves to make a difference. They work on a wide range of projects, but put experiential design at the heart of everything they do, focusing their efforts on the impact of design in improving the lives of everyday users.
We asked one of their long term employees (and this firm has very low turnover) what the top 3 reasons they're still working for this company are.
They told us:
- "You have an opportunity to really grow and develop your career in a supportive environment"
- "The company cares about important issues like climate change, wellbeing and diversity & inclusion so there is a lot going on with those"
- "There's a lot of flexibility and benefits they provide which makes it a secure place to work and they support working patterns that suit everyone."
This role is a hybrid with 3 days in office, 2 days WFH. Further flexibility can be discussed on a case by case basis.
Project exposure
This studio works in the UK and globally, across a massive range of sectors including residential, commercial, retail, infrastructure, transport, education, healthcare. Industrial, masterplanning + urban design, so there's huge opportunities to broaden your portfolio over the course of your career. Current immediate project needs are for DoE + MOJ projects; these would suit someone with a focus on experiential design to support wellbeing through education or rehabilitation. Experience in either of these sectors is a plus but not essential.
Ideal candidate profile:
- Proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams of BIM managers, engineers, architects, etc
- At least 2-3 years' experience + part 3 qualified
- Excellent people skills - they have a great culture and are looking for people who are kind, honest + decent who will fit into that
- Track record of managing UK-based Revit projects + good knowledge of AutoCAD - if you have worked at BIM Level 2 then even better
If this is you, we would like to hear from you right away. Please apply today with your CV + folio
Please note this role requires the right to live + work in the UK
