Building Surveyor / Repair Surveyor

FTC 6 months contract or interim


Hays recruitment are in partnership with a Large public sector organisation in the Oxfordshire area are looking for a Repair/ Building surveyor to join their team for an initial period of six months.

The are ideally looking for a RICS qualified surveyor experienced with the supervision, completion and management of JCT contracts. (RICS qualified not essential)

The purpose of the role is to carry out feasibility studies and prepare outline designs for works, major refurbishments and redevelopment projects to their properties. Ensure that all relevant statutory and health and safety requirements are met and information collated into a centralised management system.

Facilitate or deliver a range of surveys such as dilapidations, party wall, structural, alterations and acquisitions as required and take ownership for producing and presenting specifications, reports and recommendations. Work with stakeholders and formal bodies such as Building Control , Planning etc. to establish excellent relationships and develop overarching communication plans, designs and take these forward within the context of works and projects.
