Job Details

A thriving family-owned residential development company based in north west/west London are looking for an Architect or Architectural Technologist to join their small but growing team of in-house Architects and Designers. They boast a wide portfolio of projects including co-living and hospitality schemes as well as new builds and conversions. This practice is driven by a clear purpose to make a higher standard of living more widely accessible. They pride themselves on their high-quality delivery of modern living experiences from design through manufacturing and production to leasing and lifestyle. Their developments range in value from circa £4m up to around £30m so you will definitely be exposed to a complete mix of scale and complexity.

This role will involve you running a number of projects from conception through to completion, producing technical information for contractors and oversee the smooth delivery of projects on site. The role will also involve the successful candidate taking on several responsibilities including the following:-

  • Being a project runner who can independently run projects and manage a small team
  • Analysing building issues and proposing solutions
  • Running a number of sites concurrently
  • Producing drawings and technical information as well as supervising the in-house Architectural team

To be considered for this role you will need the following skills/attributes: -

  • RIBA / ARB / CIAT qualified/registered
  • Minimum 8-10 years of professional experience in the UK
  • Fluent and efficient in AutoCAD
  • Sound knowledge of construction, building, project management and surveying
  • Proven experience running number of sites concurrently
  • Charismatic, highly social, creative, and able to work independently
  • Experience managing key relationships at a senior level
  • Strong experience in technical drawing
  • Strong experience in site supervision and site inspections
