Your new role
As a PFI Project Manager (PM) your is responsible for the delivery of all Facilities Management Services delivered via a 30 year Private Finance Initiative contract. The contract requires that availability of dwellings is maximised, life cycle work is delivered, all assets are handed back to the Client at the end of the term in the required condition, and all hazardous materials or equipment kept safe and under control.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will need a high level stakeholder credibility, with the ability of striking the balance of diplomacy and getting the right commercial outcomes. This is the key to ensuring PFI success as this can be a delicate contract to manage. The ability to quickly pick up the financials as these need to be robustly managed. You will need an ability to challenge and drive a cycle of continuous improvement. The role requires you to be a creative thinker who can operationally react to a daily landscape that is changing. You must have had previous contract management experience within PFI. You need to be resilient and enjoy a challenge no 2 days are the same. The budget is in a great position so the key is quality service delivery and maintaining customer satisfaction levels which are really high.
