This luxury retail focused specialist architectural design studio is seeking a creative, strategic and highly skilled Business Developer to join its impressive west London studio. This practice pushes the boundaries of architectural innovation and is celebrated for its inspirational and breath-taking projects that are redefining modern design.

This studio is proud of its diverse makeup and sees the convergence of international knowledge as a cornerstone to its success. A supportive studio culture and healthy work life balance is key for this practice with an in-house chef, team lunches, free yoga once a week and personal training available to all staff to foster a positive environment where you can thrive.

This Business Development role is vital for the continued growth of the practice and will see you supporting the studio from within the marketing team - identifying and converting new business opportunities thereby diversifying and expanding the practices’ client portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a between 3-5 years’ experience, possessing expertise in high end retail and hospitality projects.

This is a brand new position within the studio where you will work very closely with the senior management team and founders. As such, this represents a great opportunity for an ambitious Business Developer to come in and spearhead the essential business expansion function of the practice as a key player – offering wide scope for personal development and upward career progression.

In order to be considered for this role, it is essential you possess:

  • Experience in retail & hospitality led business development
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Architecture & Design (a degree in this field is highly beneficial)
  • Highly developed multitasking and organisational ability combined with proven track record of winning new business
  • Strong communication and client facing skills
  • Strong self-starting skills and ability to work in an autonomous role with minimal supervision
