Job Details

Due to long term expansion plans this award-winning design focused practice based in the heart of Shoreditch is looking to add a super-talented and ambitious qualified Architect to their current senior management team. They have been established for many years and are now eager to take the practice into it's next exciting chapter and therefore, they now need to recruit an Associate Director/Director level qualified Architect who possesses a solid mix of both design & technical/delivery experience. Their workload is within the commercial (new build & refurbishment) and residential developer led sectors where they have a solid pipeline of work. They offer an extremely active office social life and their studio has a really great feel to it!

This role will require the individual to play an active part in the "big picture" strategic decisions within the practice while leading your own project team(s) on multiple schemes within the commercial sector. They are looking for that special someone who can drive projects forward, lead a small team of talented Architects & Architectural Assistants, and who has the ability to focus on both the design and technical aspects of projects. If you're looking for a role that is going to test you on a regular basis and keep you extremely busy then this is for you!

To be considered for this quite unique opportunity you must possess the following:-

  • RIBA & ARB registered
  • Min 10yrs PQE within the workplace sector
  • Be a total all rounder
  • Have worked on projects throughout all the RIBA stages with particular focus on stages 3 to 6
  • Possess extensive job running and management skills
  • Strong understanding and interest in sustainability, an experience of Naybers, BREEAM, Leti targets etc
  • Be ambitious & driven with the ability to motivate and mentor team members
  • Keen to get involved in the management of a growing practice
  • Experience in a client facing role
  • Great personality and happy to get involved!
