Architect for Prestigious London Developer

A London developer known for their one off schemes is looking to hire their first in house architect. Boasting a portfolio of contemporary and elegant residential schemes in key London locations and internationally, this is an opportunity to collaborate closely with other in house disciplines on amazing schemes with no budget. If you are client-facing and have proven experience in designing and coordinating large high-end private housing schemes then this could be for you. On offer is the opportunity to join a key player in the industry as they establish their architecture division and be integral in their further growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Work one off residential project.
• Report to design director on programme.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams across interior architect, interior design and FF+E.
• Production of planning information, reports and technical documentation.
• Liaise with high profile clients, authorities and consultants.

Skills and Experience

• Fully qualified Part III architect with experience across RIBA stages 1-7.
• Experience working on quality residential schemes for HNW clients often involving complex refurbishment, extension or basement excavation.
• Design-focused with a passion for high quality detailing and materials.
• Strong client-facing experience with excellent communication and relationship management skills.
• Ability to work in fast paced environment and keep a real rigour and professionalism to the level of output and service.

As the company are positioning themselves to offer an all in one design service, the architectural projects are not in abundance yet so this would suit a midweight architect who is satisfied working on one or 2 schemes at once to begin with.
