Midweight Interior Designer - European Hybrid Commercial Workplaces - 12 Month Contract

An international Architectural and design studio is looking for an AutoCAD literate Midweight Interior Designer for this 12 month contract.

The practice was established over 7 decades ago and during this period have accumulated a wide portfolio of projects across the UK and internationally consisting of residential, hospitality, retail, commercial, leisure and many more.

This contract requires an experienced Midweight Interior Designer to support a Senior Interior Designer working on stages 0-1 site evaluations for a global tech company, occupying multiple European hybrid workplaces.

The successful Midweight Interior Designer will be tasked with creating space planning options and office layouts for multiple European hybrid workplaces where leases are coming to an end, and where decisions need to be made by their client for future lease requirements.

Midweight Interior Designers applying need proven experience of working on commercial / office / workplace projects, ideally hybrid or flexible workplaces, and must be proficient in the use of AutoCAD.

Midweight Interior Designers should have a good understanding of space planning options, space budgets and how to apply them; how spaces need to work within different types of buildings; occupancy and sizing for furniture; and various scenarios taking into account reduced height areas, conferencing and meeting rooms etc.

Please note that this position is not just moving spaces around a plan!
