Part II & Part III Architectural Assistants

A fantastic opportunity for both RIBA Part II & Part III Architectural Assistants to join our busy, multi-award-winning RIBA chartered architectural practice - http://www.roderickjamesarchitects.com - within both our Totnes and Salisbury offices.

We are renowned for designing sustainable timber-frame houses, but also work on wide-ranging timber architecture projects including timber pods, cabins, boats and sky pavilions - right up to fully formed sustainable communities, and occasionally larger commercial buildings for people we like.

We have opportunities for talented and highly motivated individuals to join both of our Totnes and Salisbury offices, to help in dealing with our exciting and expanding UK wide workload.

The positions will be full-time and permanent, with the successful candidates being confident and enthusiastic, as well as actively wanting to progress to achieve full architectural qualification.  Good ability with Sketchup and AutoCAD is essential with the ability to sketch by hand being desirable.  Experience of timber-frame architecture and knowledge of UK Building Regulations is beneficial but not fundamental.

A competitive salary will be offered depending on experience, with an immediate start available but for the right candidates this can be delayed.
