This is a great opportunity for a Building Surveyor to join a local authority to support their specialist works- damp and condensation team on their council housing stock. Our client is a public sector organisation based in a easily commutable part of Hertfordshire. The team is very friendly and flexible hybrid working options are available as they encourage a healthy work life balance.


Your new role
The post holder will be required to provide a professional building surveying service ensuring that the council's property / building assets are compliant, and all assets are improved, repaired and maintained and in a good state of repair and fit for purpose. This shall be on the council's housing and residential properties and the operational corporate and commercial buildings etc. You will be predominately involved in the rectification of problems arising from damp and condensation to the council's housing stock and may also include other council buildings


What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have detailed knowledge of building technology and specialist knowledge in diagnosing damp and condensation problems. Also, Completed, HND or HNC/BTEC , or third year of an accredited or completed other construction related degree in Architecture or Building Surveying.
