Job Details
We are working closely with a prestigious London based design-led studio that specialises in delivering innovative projects in public realm, education, culture, and transportation. They are urgently seeking a highly experienced Senior Landscape Architect to join their dynamic landscape team.
The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute, with approx. 10 years of relevant professional industry experience. As a Senior Landscape Architect, you will play a pivotal role in leading complex multidisciplinary projects, working closely with talented team of architects, engineers, and planners to deliver high-quality design solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop innovative and creative design solutions for complex multidisciplinary projects
- Lead projects from inception to completion, ensuring the highest standards of design & technical competence
- Manage and coordinate project teams, ensuring timely delivery of projects within budget and on schedule
- Demonstrate excellent graphic skills in the presentation of design concepts and proposals
- Use CAD software (Vectorworks or Microstation preferred) to develop, document, and communicate design proposals
- Undertake site visits and monitor project progress, ensuring that all work is delivered to the highest standards of quality and safety
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and external consultants, promoting the studio's reputation and capabilities in the industry
Skills and Qualifications:
- Chartered member of the Landscape Institute
- Proficient in the use of CAD software
- Attention to detail and clear thinking, with the ability to lead and coordinate project teams effectively
- Excellent technical skills, with a solid understanding of construction processes and the ability to prepare high-quality technical drawing packages
- Experience in delivering high-quality streetscape projects would be advantageous
