Job Details
A family-owned property development company based in North West London is looking for an experienced Architectural Technician to join their small but growing in-house team of Architects and Designers. They boast a wide portfolio of projects including co-living and hospitality schemes as well as new builds and conversions. This practice is driven by a clear purpose to make a higher standard of living more widely accessible. They pride themselves on their high-quality delivery of modern living experiences from design through manufacturing and production to leasing and lifestyle.
This role will involve predominantly around you producing technical detailing, construction drawings and carrying out measured surveys on sites. The role will also involve the successful candidate taking on several responsibilities including the following: -
- Producing Project Technical information for construction from A-Z Monitoring project delivery on site and ensure adherence to the design Contributing to the detailed design process and coordinating detailed design information Working closely with the in-house joinery workshop Analysing building issues and proposing solutions Collating information for building control submissions. Tenders etc. Responsible for programme to meet project deadlines
To be considered for this role you will need the following skills/attributes: -
- RIBA / ARB / CIAT qualified Minimum 10 years of professional experience in the UK Fluent and efficient in AutoCAD Knowledge of construction, building, project management and surveying Proven experience running number of sites concurrently Charismatic, highly social, creative, and able to work independently Experience managing key relationships at a senior level Strong experience in technical drawing Strong experience in site supervision and site inspections
