Our client is a global architecture and urban design practice that specialises in designing and integrating infrastructure, development and innovative placemaking.  They work collaboratively and are open and trusting with colleagues, clients and stakeholders. 

They are looking for an experienced document controller to support on a prestigious project in the Middle East.  Reporting to the BIM Manager you will work closely with the Project Lead providing direct support to project team members.  Please note they offer hybrid working, with a minimum of 2 days in the office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintaining the project drawings, schedules, and information on incoming and outgoing registers and file-sharing platforms
  • Ensuring the correct distribution of information to the client and project teams 
  • Creating and maintaining document templates and reviewing content for accuracy
  • Managing the flow of project management processes at each project work stage, such as technical submissions, and QA documentation, and assisting the team with project management and contract administration when required, including meeting minutes
  • Interface with project Design Management Consultant

Skills and Experience 

  • Background in architecture or engineering, with a professional degree from an accredited university
  • Proficient with ISO19650 and a good understanding of BIM
  • Experience with the development and management of Common Data Environments
  • Knowledge of advanced level collaboration tools such as Aconex, Navisworks, Autodesk BIM Collaborate Pro and other relevant platforms
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential- training will be provided
  • Strong working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook and experience with Newforma and Sharepoint advantageous
  • Excellent attention to detail, exemplary organisation skills, and a proactive communication style essential
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • BIM Certification by an approved and recognised Industry provider will be advantageous but not essential
