Established over a decade ago, this practice has cemented a reputation for high-quality, cutting-edge residential design and are key proponents of sustainability and Passivhaus design. Set in a historic building in the heart of Conwy, overlooking both Conwy Castle and the River Conwy, the office is a den of creativity and a supportive, dynamic environment. They work on a variety of residential projects, including new-build, replacement dwellings and renovations. Project values range from £500k- £5 million. Although the main studio is in Conwy, they also have a satellite office in Chester which they use to meet local clients. They are enjoying a wealth of existing and upcoming projects so are looking to add another member of staff this year, and 2 more in 2024.
Your new role
An Architectural Technician role for someone with experience with sustainable residential design. Based in the Conwy office, you will be working alongside the 4-strong team on a wide variety of projects across North Wales and Cheshire. You will be using your technical experience and Revit knowledge to assist the architectural team with site evaluation, technical drawings, planning applications and feasibility studies.
What you'll need to succeed
- A healthy working knowledge of Autodesk® Revit [https://www.autodesk.co.uk/collections/architecture-engineering-construction/overview]
- Minimum 5 years' experience with residential architecture
- Experience with Planning applications
- A good understanding of Passivhaus design.
