As we look to increase our efficiency whilst outperforming against project and customer expectations, it is essential we plan in the most innovative, robust and accurate fashion. With this in mind, we are looking for a number of Quantity Surveyors with some experience, who are keen to progress , to join the team


Your new role

You will be a key member of a wholly collaborative team and will use your experience, enthusiasm and skills to help the team drive efficiency and outperformance.
Key responsibilities:

  • Assist the programme area estimating team to ensure robust estimates are provided that align to scope and make allowance for risks and opportunities
  • Subcontracts are properly prepared & reflect agreed scope. Subcontracts are properly managed in accordance with contract requirements including compliance with all responses to communications, payments, early warnings, compensation events,
  • Work closely with the procurement team, Construction Manager and Project Delivery Manager (PDM) to develop & monitor procurement strategy.
  • Work closely with the site Team attending site regularly to ensure they are aware of and can manage the allowances and outputs, provide robust challenge to achieve outperformance, communicate change control and escalate when necessary.



What you'll need to succeed
Who we're looking for

To be considered for this role, you'll have demonstrable experience of working on relevant projects within the Civil engineering sector. You will be educated to degree standard in cost related discipline or engineering.

Your ability to communicate complex information to a wide range of audiences whilst working in a pressurised situations to tight deadlines will be crucial.


Extensive experience in managing costs in high value projects.
