Looking for a senior electrical design engineer

Your new company
Hays is pleased to be working with a Global Multidisciplinary Consultancy with over 100 years of experience across construction, infrastructure, residential, education and healthcare sectors and more. They are now looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to be joining a National Network with their friendly and knowledgeable team.
The company offices are based in central Cambridge, and they present themselves as modern and innovative.


Your new role
As a Senior electrical design engineer, you will be exposed to many sectors where you will be playing a very important role to help create and expand the Cambridge Building Services Engineering team with new and existing opportunities. You will need to be engaged with the design team, supporting the delivery of the projects, the engineering choices and direction to optimise benefits and value for money to the client and end users. You will need to oversee and supervising the installation of building systems and specifying maintenance and operating procedures.


What you'll need to succeed
To succeed, having a degree in Building Services or higher education qualification, experience in the industry running projects from conception, knowledge in design industry will be playing a good part for success. You will need to have a high level of technical skill, proficiency in Microsoft office and social skills where you can build easily relationships with your colleagues and be work collaborative to help in achieving the better outcomes.
