FRAME are proud to be working with a multiple award winning, international design firm to recruit a Senior Interior Designer.

The London office has established itself as a leading design firm in the UK and Europe, renowned for delivering a diverse range of professional design services encompassing corporate interiors, strategic workplace consultancy, new build architecture, large-scale urban design and planning development, as well as hospitality projects.

The studio is currently seeking skilled Senior Interior Designers with experience in corporate interiors. Ideal candidates will have a strong professional background and demonstrate extensive experience in a similar role.

Key qualifications include exceptional design and conceptual skills, a proven track record in client management, strong presentation abilities, and the ability to uphold design excellence throughout all project stages, from concept to completion. The Role:
  • Represent the practice and promote its positive reputation.
  • Contribute to the development and advancement of the practice.
  • Foster harmonious collaboration with Principals, Associates, and other team members.
  • Attend regular Continuing Professional Development (CPD) sessions and keep an up-to-date CPD record.
  • Actively contribute to Design Reviews by gathering and presenting relevant information.
  • Manage the development of tender proposals.
  • Oversee the preparation of tender presentation materials.
  • Lead or assist in presenting proposals to clients.
  • Collaborate with the Project Lead and team members to develop design proposals for clients, including concept ideas, layout development, finishes, materials, and furniture selection.
  • Gather client briefs and prepare project briefing documents.
  • Prepare design and production information within agreed-upon program and cost parameters.
  • Specify products and materials, while assessing their suitability, sustainability, and maintenance procedures.
  • Handle the specification of furniture desking systems and their integration with IT infrastructure.
  • Attend client presentation meetings and other project-related meetings as necessary.
  • Review on-site construction work when required.
  • Assist in ensuring a seamless handover of projects to clients.
  • Regularly report project issues to the Project Lead.
Skills and Experience:
  • Proficiency in software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign is essential.
  • Willingness to serve as a design mentor to junior team members.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is required.
  • Excellent design and technical knowledge, with the ability to conduct ongoing research on furniture systems, products, finishes, and materials.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate a team.
  • Understanding of clients' requirements and previous experience in client liaison.
  • Experience managing fast-track projects from inception to completion.
  • Exceptional client management and presentation skills.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to listen and learn from all team members.
  • Ability to build positive relationships at all levels, both internally and externally.
  • Working knowledge of Building Regulations, British Standards, and relevant statutory legislation.
  • A degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Architecture.
  • Understanding of the financial aspects of running a design project on time and within budget is desirable.
