Conservation Architect

Philip Hughes Associates LLP are looking for a Qualified Architect with at least 3 years post qualification experience.  Applicants will need excellent CAD skills and demonstrate a genuine interest in conservation work.  Accreditation in conservation by the AABC or RIBA is desirable.

PHA are Historic Buildings Conservation Consultants, based in Somerset (working throughout the South-West) and employ both architects and surveyors.  Work undertaken by the practice predominantly involves the analysis, repair, sensitive adaptation and improvement of historic buildings. Projects regularly involve elements of new design - these are carefully managed to respect the historic setting and fabric of the existing building.

The team is highly motivated and committed to providing clients with an individual service whilst striving for excellence in the care of historic buildings.

The role requires travel within the South-West and applicants should have a full driving licence and access to their own car for travel.
