Are you looking for a position with a reputable and independent architectural practice located in the beautiful county of Hampshire.
We are working with an independent practice who have a strong commitment to delivering innovative design solutions, specialize in a wide range of architectural projects, including residential, commercial, and public sector developments.

As they continue to grow and expand their portfolio, they are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Architect to join the dynamic team.

As a Senior Architect, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing architectural projects from inception to completion. Your expertise and creativity will contribute to the successful delivery of high-quality designs, while overseeing a team of skilled professionals. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual with 5-10 years of post-qualification experience to make a significant impact within a thriving practice.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design process, including concept development, schematic design, and design development, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and codes.
  • Collaborate with clients, understanding their vision, and translating it into innovative design solutions that meet their objectives and budgetary constraints.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members, offering guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare and review detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Conduct site visits, surveys, and assessments to assess project feasibility and provide technical expertise.
  • Coordinate with external consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution and timely delivery.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, building codes, and technological advancements, integrating them into design solutions where appropriate.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
  • Professional architectural qualification and registration.
  • Demonstrated experience of 5-10 years working in an architectural practice post-qualification.
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other relevant design software.
  • Sound knowledge of UK building regulations, planning policies, and construction processes.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing architectural projects, from concept to completion.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients, team members, and external stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership capabilities and the ability to inspire and mentor junior architects.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
