Architect (contract)

High end, boutique design studio based in leafy Surrey is on the lookout for an architectural technician ideally experienced within commercial workplace projects to join them on a long term contract basis. If successful you will be delivering technical drawing packages for a 13,000sqm commercial office project in the City of London from tender stage through to on site delivery. You will be supported by the studio Director and an architect who will be delivering technical drawing packages alongside you. This is a prestigious and long term project that the studio will also deliver to occupation, providing you with a long term contracting opportunity and the ability to make your mark on the skyline of the UK's capital City. Successful technicians will have experience delivering technical drawing packages and details for contemporary commercial workplace projects within the UK previously. This position is based in Surrey and allows 1 day working from home. This studio is outside IR35

Job Description

• Work along side project director to deliver technical drawing packages from tender through to completion stage of a commercial workplace project in London
• Troubleshoot design iterations and ideas with the team
• Advise on issues on buildability

Key Skills

• Must have prior experience on commercial projects at technical stage in the UK
• Ideally archicad proficient, however AutoCAD is also acceptable
• Available within two weeks notice maximum
