Architect (contract)

High end, boutique design studio based in leafy Surrey is on the lookout for an architect with design flair experienced in commercial workplace projects to join them on a long term contract basis. If successful you will be crafting the design vision for a 13,000sqm commercial office project in the City of London. You will be supported by the studio Director and an architectural technician who will be delivering technical drawing packages alongside your design iterations, and ultimately driving the project towards tender stage. This is a prestigious and long term project that the studio will also deliver to occupation, providing you with a huge opportunity to make your mark on the skyline of the UK's capital City. Successful architects / designers will have experience leading design for contemporary commercial workplace projects within the UK previously. This position is based in Surrey and allows 1 day working from home

Job Description

• Work along side project director defining the artistic vision for a commercial workplace project in London
• Hand sketch ideas and design iterations for the delivery team

• Must have prior experience as design lead on contemporary commercial workplace projects in the UK
• Available within two weeks notice maximum
