Your new company

You will be working for a successful local business that is going through an exciting period of change and growth, joining them as their new Financial Controller. This job opportunity is available on a full-time, interim basis for 2/3 months.

Your new role

Leading a small finance team and operating as the number 2 in finance in the business, your role will span a mixture of hands-on accounting and commercial finance duties. On the hands-on side, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely production of accounts and overseeing the transactional team, as well as analysing financial information for presentation to senior management. This is an all-round finance role, perfect for you if you love variety in your work.

What you'll need to succeed

• Be a strong, all-round Accountant with experience operating in an SME
• Have proven people management experience
• Have strong business partnering skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels

What you'll get in return

• A day rate of £250 - £300
• 25 days holiday + bank holidays
• Office based with occasional WFH
• Hours: 8am - 4:30pm or 8:30am - 5pm
