Your new role
A local planning authority are seeking a Principal Planning Officer to join them on an interim basis to work on an exciting large scale project.

Working alongside other authorities, you will gain experience of multi-partnership working, and working alongside planning, regeneration, and urban development. You will act as a key point of contact for the local planning authority, and a liaison between the other partners to drive progress and provide a single, joined up message to the authorities as required.

This is a large scale project, set to provide sustainable growth with major investment in transport, jobs and community infrastructure.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful for this role, you will have experience of partnership working with partners across all sectors. You will have a good understanding of the National Planning Policy Framework, excellent communication skills and will be able to establish positive relationships with stakeholders.
