Assistant Site Manager

Your new company
A vibrant and well established fit out firm based in Derby who run small and medium interior refurb and fit out projects in the East Midlands region. Having secured a strong project pipeline they are now looking to build the team.


Your new role
As an Assistant Site Manager you will be reporting to the Senior Project Manager and support the projects ranging up to the £2m. You will be hands on with the projects supporting the trades and staff using your background of joinery or carpentry to make sure the project is brought in on budget and quality standards. You will also be responsible for the health and safety standards on the sites and drive the team to a successful project completion.


What you'll need to succeed
You will have a background of trades, ideally Joinery/Carpentry, have worked on projects including office fit out, commercial or more technical interiors such as shop fitting. You will be keen to learn and develop, with the skills to work hands on whilst keeping an eye on the teams and driving good quality and activity.
You will have an SMSTS or equivalent and First Aid.


What you'll get in return
You will get chance to work on some flagship projects with major sector leading clients, you will get the opportunity to learn the projects and processes from the senior PM and within a year run your own projects. You will receive a salary of £28,000 + package (car/allowance after 6 months worth £6,000) and have excellent progression opportunities when you establish yourself in the business.
