Midweight Retail Interior Designer for a global architecture and design consultancy

This established global design and architectural consultancy is on the hunt for an enthusiastic midweight retail interior designer to join their studio in South East London. Having accumulated well over two decades of commercial interior design and architecture experience, they deliver designs that truly connect brands with consumer needs. Designing out of multiple locations globally, the team passionately transform spaces into commercial opportunities for all their clients.

This midweight designer role will see you work alongside the whole team including the design managers and directors.

Within this role there will be multiple responsibilities which will include some of the following:

• Confidently working in 2D and 3D to deliver drawings With support from the senior team, use and develop technical know-how to deliver a project Prepare analysis/planning, briefing and stimulus material Presenting coherent creative ideals to deliver against design/brand strategy Run smaller projects reporting to the project director or associate Attend client and consultant meetings where required Take responsibility for preparing creative presentations internally and externally

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills/attributes:

• Minimum 6 years’ experience working in retail design Design degree qualification – degree or similar Ability to deliver design solutions from feasibility to completion UK Site experience necessary Demonstrate competent IT skills – CAD programmes, Abobe Suite, Word, etc Demonstrate ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously Demonstrate full understanding of a brief and present good creative design solutions with evidence of the thought process
