Your new role
To implement marketing expertise and experience to meet contract objectives for this key Business Support organisation whilst elevating and utilising key marketing activities and delivery to support the positioning of the business as a market leader to partners and potential commercial prospects.
• Lead and manage direct reports, covering all aspects of people management activities (recruitment and onboarding, performance management and improvement, absence management, learning and development, coaching and mentoring, wellbeing, etc.);
• Lead and drive creativity, proactivity, innovation and digital with the Marketing Executives;
• Work with the Marketing Manager and Management Team to understand the contractual targets and KPIs, and design and deliver a strategic marketing plan to achieve these, within a given budget;
• Lead Marketing Executives and work collaboratively with marketing colleagues, the Marketing Manager and the wider International team to meet contract objectives;
• Work closely with the Digital Marketing Executive;
• Lead and execute quarterly/annual marketing plans (as required), using relevant and appropriate marketing channels to deliver campaigns in line with expectations and contract objectives;
• Manage delivery of coordinated tactical marketing activities (and relevant assets and collateral), driving lead generation results and ROI to contribute to the overarching strategy and plans;
• Take an active role in raising the profile and positioning of the company both externally and internally;
• Deliver marketing activities, working closely and collaboratively with marketing colleagues and the team to ensure key priorities and targets are achieved;
• Create and implement online and offline campaign plans, managing, monitoring, and optimising to meet specific objectives and KPIs and ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget;
• Manage external agency relationships to ensure campaigns are delivered to meet lead generation objectives, on time and within budget;
• Monitor and analyse social media progress using reporting metrics and tools to inform campaign optimisation;
• Use content marketing and copywriting techniques and strategies to create engaging content to attract the target audience;
• Promote branded and amplified PR and promotional content to relevant audiences, working with the Marketing Team;
• Set up and maintain tracking solutions, including Google Analytics and Tag Manager to ensure consistent and accurate tracking of key metrics for all channels;
• Use the email marketing platform to devise automated campaigns using data intelligence from our CRM platform;
• Manage video content development to showcase and promote contracts and their impact;
• Create dynamic online and offline marketing collateral;
• Provide creative and innovative recommendations for new campaigns to support the strategy;
• Stay on top of the contemporary marketing and competitive landscape, including the latest industry trends in digital optimisation, and implement best practice in day-to-day activity;
• Understand the branding guidelines and ensure that all marketing activities adhere to them.
What you'll need to succeed
Essential
• Experience of and working knowledge of HR processes for managing people and teams;
• Demonstrable previous experience of working in marketing;
• Demonstrable experience of using email marketing platforms to implement successful automation campaigns;
• Implementation of digital marketing initiatives including SEO and PPC;
• High competency of using analytical tools to report on campaign performance.
Desirable
• Regular use of the Adobe Creative Suite – particularly Premiere Pro, InDesign, and Photoshop;
• Management and maintenance of multiple social media platforms;
