Contracts Manager

Your new company
You will be joining a national contractor, to support them operationally across The Midlands on their highways projects such as the Scheme Delivery Framework. This contractor describe themselves as a Tier 2, transitioning into a Tier 1 currently and pride themselves on 95% of their work pipeline being repeat business from long term customers. It is a massively exciting time for the company as they are rapidly building on recent successes and growth.

Your new role
As a Contracts Managers you would look after multiple projects at any one time, anywhere from 3 to 15, depending on size and complexity. You would receive the information from the Tender award team and then look to plan the works, write the RAMS, liaise with the buyers to ensure the materials are approved and procured, write programmes for delivery, attend meetings on site with the client, brief the Supervisors, monitor the site diaries and liaise with the QS to capture change, CE's and additional costs, and generally manage the project through to completion.

What you\'ll need to succeed
To succeed you will have the necessary qualifications such as CSCS and SMSTS as well as relevant experience working within Civil Engineering, with highways experience and the associated civil work being desirable but not essential. You will also be a strong team player, with great communication skills, the ability to manage multiple deadlines and proficiency in Microsoft office. A willingness to travel to site and be office based is essential.
