Your new company
Hays is pleased to me representing a multidisciplinary design consultancy with over 30 years of experience to recruit a Mechanical Design Engineer. Our client has offices in London, Cambridge, and King's Lynn, they work with various clients, from individuals to big organisations. Their projects range from schools and hospitals to government buildings up to the value of £10 million, and they're known for their exceptional work in the Defence Sector. Our client has a keen eye for quality and attention to detail, they create beautiful, functional, and affordable buildings.


This is an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer to work in beautiful, brand new, open-plan offices in Kings Lynn with access to plenty of perks and free parking.
Your new role
As the new Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the mechanical engineering aspects of various projects. Your expertise will directly influence the successful execution of projects across all sectors. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including architects, structural engineers, and energy specialists, to develop integrated mechanical solutions tailored for a variety of projects. In addition, you will assist in conducting feasibility studies, site investigations, and prepare and review technical reports, drawings, and specifications, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.


What you'll need to succeed
To succeed on this role, your new company is expecting over 5 years of experience in design with knowledge of AutoCAD and if you have Revit would be fantastic. A degree or similar qualification on Building Services would be an added benefit!
