Graduate Quantity Surveyor

Your new company are a leading civil engineering construction company seeking a highly motivated and ambitious graduate to join their team as a Quantity Surveyor. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate to start their career in the construction industry and work on some of the most prestigious projects in the country.


Your new role

• Assisting with the preparation of tender and contract documents
• Undertaking cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work
• Assisting in establishing a client's requirements and undertaking feasibility studies
• Performing risk, value management, and cost control
• Advising on procurement strategy
• Identifying, analysing, and developing responses to commercial risks
• Preparing and analysing costings for tenders
• Allocating work to subcontractors
• Providing advice on contractual claims
• Analysing outcomes and writing detailed progress reports
• Valuing completed work and arranging payments

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software
