With a captivating portfolio of projects spanning the UK and Internationally we're in search of a Project Architect to enhance a dynamic team in South West London!
We are looking for someone to lead luxury new build residential and refurbishment projects from their initial concept through to on-site completion, where your expertise will shine in crafting bespoke joinery and comprehensive drawing packages. Reporting directly to the Head of Design, you will play a pivotal role in the creative journey as well as site visits and direct collaboration with skilled contractors and builders.
Our ideal candidate should bring a wealth of experience to the table, with a minimum of 2 years in the luxury residential sector and a minimum of 1 year of Part III professional practice under their belt. Demonstrating a proven track record in historical building refurbishments and the ability to navigate residential projects from their conceptual beginnings to their successful completion, you should possess an exceptional aptitude for producing intricate drawings and custom joinery packages. A meticulous eye for detail and outstanding presentation and communication skills should be your forte. Multitasking ability, self-motivation, and deep-seated passion for design and architectural drawing are integral to your success. Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Suite is essential for this role.
A permanent position is readily available for immediate commencement, offering an exciting opportunity for individuals who are ready to dive into the world of architectural excellence. You will be expected to work on projects comprising of apartments, luxurious hotel rooms as well as knowledge in structural elements and understanding of British standards and regulations is essential for this position. Your role will also involve periodic international site visits and direct collaboration with skilled contractors and builders.
The role:
- ARB / RIBA Qualified
- A minimum of 2 years' experience within the luxury residential sector
- At least 1 year of Part III professional practice experience
- Proven track record in historical building refurbishments
- Demonstrated experience handling residential projects from concept to fruition
- Proficiency in generating detailed drawings and tailor-made joinery packages
- A keen eye for detail
- Understand classic and contemporary architectural styles
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills
- Enthusiastic about hands-on involvement and direct interaction with contractors and builders
- Knowledge in European design style is highly beneficial
The salary for this position ranges from £45,000 to £50,000, contingent upon the candidate's level of experience. This position also provides flexible working arrangements with a pension + life insurance scheme.
