Job Title: Power Apps Developer
Location: Cambridge
Rate: £300.00 per day
Contract Term: 3 Months
The Role
This role is for an experienced developer in the Power Platform, capable of converting business requirements into robust solutions that significantly enhance our effectiveness and efficiency. The developer will employ a wide array of Microsoft technologies, including but not limited to the
Power Platform, SharePoint, Teams, Microsoft Graph and other Microsoft 365 tools. As an integral part of our digital team, the Developer plays a critical role in shaping and executing our transformative digital strategy.
Working in the digital team, the Developer assumes a central role, overseeing the execution of a range of small to large-scale projects using an assortment of Microsoft technologies to achieve specific outcomes. The developer's responsibilities span the entire development lifecycle, from defining requirements and coding to testing, implementation, and handing over to Operations. In addition, the developer will provide ongoing support post-implementation. The projects are expected to utilise a blend of Agile and traditional Waterfall methodologies.
Main Duties & Key Responsibilities
Responsible for capturing requirements, creating necessary documentation, and conducting business analyses to determine the effectiveness of solutions using Microsoft SharePoint/Teams/Power Platform. Experience:
Experience as a Power Platform Developer, with a strong background in Power Apps, Power Automate and SharePoint.
Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall development models, and an ability to adapt to different project environments.
Experience in collaborating directly with user teams, efficiently capturing, documenting, and translating requirements into actionable solutions.
Developing solutions using SharePoint, Teams, Power Apps and Power Automate within a commercial or academic environment.
Brings innovation and creative solutions to business challenges using the Microsoft platform.
Experience working within a small IT team, demonstrating flexible ways of working that align with the unique demands of each project.
